RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Collaboration

Exploratory Research & Hypothesis Generation

Academic & Student Benefits

We welcome universities, research institutions, and academic medical centers to participate in the Academic MOU Programme, a formal collaboration designed to foster innovation in medication adherence science through the use of our proprietary tools, behavioral frameworks, and global data infrastructure.

Through this MOU, researchers and students gain access to structured adherence instruments, including the Morisky Medication Adherence Scales (MMAS) as well as exclusive use of our behavioral insights platform, The Library, and our real-time geospatial adherence mapping system, ATLAS.

Academic & Student Benefits

Exploratory Research & Hypothesis Generation

Academic & Student Benefits

 Participating institutions will receive:

Faculty and student access to adherence datasets, toolkits, and protocols for classroom use, academic research, and thesis/dissertation projects.

Training and certification on MMAS tools and adherence frameworks—ideal for pharmacy, public health, behavioral science, and implementation science programs.

Support for capstone projects, student poster presentations, and manuscript development.

Exploratory Research & Hypothesis Generation

 Research partners are encouraged to:

Use The Library; our digital knowledge base of patient adherence narratives, categorized by behavior type, clinical condition, and treatment complexity for hypothesis generation, behavioral modeling, or qualitative coding.

Explore social, economic, and system-level adherence factors using real-world scenarios pulled from anonymized global data sets.

Publish exploratory findings under a joint authorship model, with opportunity for mentorship and peer review from the Adherence team.

Exploratory Research & Hypothesis Generation

The MOU includes exploratory access to ATLAS: the Adherence Tools and Location Analytics System. A state-of-the-art geospatial platform built to:

Visualize medication adherence patterns by region, age group, therapeutic class, or intervention type.

Support grant-funded projects, health disparity research, and behavioral epidemiology modeling.

Empower health systems and researchers with actionable insights into localized adherence challenges.

What We’re Looking For

  We seek institutions that are:

Committed to advancing behavioral science, public health, or implementation research.

Interested in co-authoring studies, piloting interventions, or validating the MMAS-8R in diverse populations.

Supportive of student learning and real-world application of adherence science in clinical and community settings.
